To ensure high quality of livestock breeding, it is necessary to pay attention to the survival rate of young cattle, as this indicator is extremely important. When breeding highly productive livestock, it is very important to maintain a balance in feeding. Lack of feed can lead to digestive disorders in animals, which will be complicated by the development of gastrointestinal pathology. As a result of this pathology, animals can become infected with anaerobic infections, which can be caused by various clostridia.
Infectious diseases of clostridial nature can have serious consequences for animals, so prevention of this group of diseases is extremely important. To achieve success in this matter, it is necessary to carry out general veterinary and sanitary measures, such as cleanliness of premises, proper storage of feed and regular disinfection. It is also important to apply specific methods, such as vaccination of animals against clostridiosis, to create immunity in animals for a long period of time and prevent the development of the disease.
In cattle, anaerobic infections such as anaerobic enterotoxemia are common, which can lead to serious complications such as intestinal disorders, myositis and even death. Studies have shown that the infection is widespread in many regions of Russia and beyond.
The article presents data on the epizootic situation of anaerobic enterotoxemia in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2020-2022. The work uses a comprehensive epizootological approach, including modern methods of epizootological diagnosis of animal diseases. The presented data on RT confirm the persistence of the epizootological situation of infectious enterotoxemia and the need for constant epizootological monitoring in order to determine the trends and factors contributing to the spread of the disease.
