In the study of systemic links in the regulation of physiological processes, the immune system plays a key role in protecting the body. Its central (thymus, red bone marrow) and peripheral (spleen, tonsils and lymph nodes) organs are involved in the deactivation of antigens. In this regard, the study of morphological features of immunocompetent organs under stress is of scientific and practical interest. The article describes the morphological features of the spleen in the dynamics of burn injury. Spleen tissues are sensitive to burn toxemia, which develops against the background of systemic inflammation. In the early stages of the burn injury (2-7 days), destructive processes developed. Morphological changes were accompanied by signs of exhaustion and dystrophy against the background of functional tension. By 10 days, a decrease in structural transformations of the spleen was established, which is due to a high level of stress-reactivity and activation of protective-adaptive responses of the immune-competent organ.
